Secure Data Destruction And Sanitization

In addition to our electronic recycling services, Green Thumb E-Recycling provides data destruction and sanitation services to clients looking for extra peace of mind when disposing of their data-filled E-Waste.  We accept a wide variety of items including Hard Drives, Solid State Drives, Magnetic Tapes and Disks, Cell Phones, Compact Discs and DVDs, and Flash Memory. Some of our options include:

Data Erasure

Using DOD erasure standards, we can erase all data on the media while preserving its physical integrity for reuse.

Certificates of Destruction

We can provide certificates of destruction containing the serial numbers of each device destroyed if applicable.

Hard Drive Degaussing

Using a high-powered electric field, we can erase data on a magnetic platter or tape-based media.

Drive Removal Service

For those on a budget, we also provide disk removal services to allow clients to destroy their data at their own discretion.

Mechanical Shredding
